I think 1960s on this one, how about you? Too flashy for the 50s, but WAY too sensible for the 70s. Cocoa-colored ostrich skin, with a wide, smooth leather diagonal stripe sewn diagonally into the front of the bag. (Back is all ostrich.) High leather handle stands up on its own because it also runs down the sides of the bag, held in and up by four brackets. Rigid, ostrich- covered stability bar at the top of the bag. Snap closure and four brass feet. Label says, "Made Expressly for / Paul Allan." Lining is heavy, dark brown faille. Two large pockets, one with a metal zipper. This is a large handbag. 11" wide at the base, by 9" high, by 3 1/4" deep. MINT! (Marked down from $68.00.)
