If I Were Buying a Vintage "Skins" Bag

If I were buying a vintage "skins" bag, I'd bypass the alligator, snake. and crocodile, and I'd buy this bag. A very large Lesca, this bag is glossy, black, and roomy, while being beautifully cut and styled. Lined in tan leather, it has three pockets, one with a metal zipper. One pocket is clearly marked, "Lesca." The two handles, with a 6" drop, are in PERFECT condition. The bag is 10 1/4" wide, by 8 1/2" high, by 4" deep at the deepest point of the generous side gussets. Piping at the seams. Brass, leather-wrapped frame with an Eames era brass snap closure and four brass feet. Mint condition!
