Somehow, this bag made it from 1968 to 2008 completely untouched! It's marked "John Romain / 10-68" inside, it is has clearly never been used. Interesting design: two brass feet in the front, the the back of the bag is slightly longer. So the top-stitched back seam becomes the back "feet." High, padded leather handle is almost completely rigid and has a drop of 5". Two leather pockets on the inside. Bag is self-lined with its own suede. Elegant twist closure that looks like a lock. 9" wide by 7 1/2" high by 3" deep (gussets partly extended.) Beautifully made of heavy, distressed leather. Absolutely mint.
