Often, when Ie find vintage or nearly antique skins handbags like this, I'm afraid to pick them up, because I'm afraid the bag will simply disintegrate in my hands. This bag, on the contrary, is beautifully preserved. Not only is it completely whole and intact, the snake skins are supple and glistening and the faille lining is perfectly sound. I had a new brass zipper put in, and the zipper closes the central compartment, which has two applied pockets. Full-sized, open pockets are on both sides of the central compartment, also lined in heavy green/brown faill The bag measures 9" wide by 7" high about 3" deep, with a separat bottom and wide side gussets. So, the bag opens well and is quit roomy. The tapered handle has a 5 1/2" drop. Excellent vintage condition. You could use it tomorrow.
